Single Digits to Election Day
9 days!!! 9 days!!! 9 days!!!
We’re officially in the single-digit countdown to Election Day — there’s no time to slow down, so we picked up our candidate for Lt. Governor Betty Sutton and hit the road for a full day of stops.
First — we hit Willoughby, where we met up with a bunch of our Lake County Democratic friends and candidates: Democratic Senate Leader Kenny Yuko, State Rep. John Rogers, Lake County Commissioner Dan Troy, Judge Colleen Falkowski and judicial candidates Mary Jane Trapp and Darya Klammer.
Our local judicial candidates hopped on the bus to join us for the rest of the day, so we headed off to Niles for our second event of the day! We were greeted by a super enthusiastic crowd who braved the rain to meet us, and we were excited to join Congressman Tim Ryan and Judge Michael Donnelly, plus local elected officials like State Sen. Joe Schiavoni.
Judge Donnelly joined us on board the #PeopleFirst Express and we headed to our final stop of the day — a big rally in Geauga County Dems HQ! It was standing room only (with some spillover outside on the sidewalk) to hear from five of our statewide candidates — Betty Sutton, Steve Dettelbach, Kathleen Clyde, Judge Michael Donnelly and Judge Melody Stewart. We were also thrilled to see Congressional candidate Betsy Rader and local Democrats who are running such exciting races in their communities!
