It’s fall, y’all!

On this brisk October morning, we loaded up the #PeopleFirst Bus and headed off to Tiffin to start our day of press conferences highlighting local candidates who are fighting for Ohioans.

In Tiffin, we met up with Rachel Crooks, candidate for HD88, who is a hardworking champion for education running against an incumbent Republican who took tons of money from ECOT and hasn’t returned a cent.

After a quick lunch in downtown Tiffin, we passed by posts outside City Hall decked out in rainbow in celebration of National Coming Out Day. It’s so awesome to see even the smallest of towns stand in solidarity with the LGBTQ+ community.

From Tiffin, we headed to Upper Sandusky for a press conference with Congressional candidate Michael Galbraith for OH-5 and candidate for Wyandot County Commissioner Jon Oberhauser. You could feel the excitement in the crisp autumn air. 🍂🍁

Our final stop was the Crawford County Ox Roast, where we listened to Chairman David Pepper give an awesome pep talk to a full room about how this election is an opportunity for us to reject the chaos of the Trump administration.

Then we heard from Congressional candidate Janet Garrett, who’s running to unseat Jim Jordan in OH-4. Speaking of Janet, have you seen her new digital ad? It’s pretty freakin’ great.

With bellies full of good food from the Crawford County Democrats, we hit the road to head back to Columbus to get ready for another full day on the Big Blue Bus.

26 days to go!
