Have you been holding your breath for the next update on the #PeopleFirst Bus Tour? Be at peace, your long wait has ended.

After an overnight stay in Wooster, we got up bright and early to make our next stop at the Wayne County Dems HQ. After meeting up with the team, we got to hear from some really inspiring local candidates — Susan Moran Palmer running for Congress in OH-16, Adam VanHo running for Ohio House District 42, and Kevin Barnet running for Ohio House District 1.

The room was packed, and we even had people tuning into an attendee’s live stream — I didn’t plant her in the audience, she just did this, I promise!

After the presser, we even got to take the awesome folks from Wooster on a quick ride around the town!

On three, say “2018!!!”

Once we dropped them back off at HQ, it was on to our next stop in Findlay. This press conference drew a big crowd that was excited to hear about our People First message, and our candidates didn’t disappoint.

We listened to Michael Galbraith running for Congress in District 5, Adam Papin running for the State Senate in District 1 and Mary Harshfield running in House District 83. Each has an awesome message about fighting for working families in Northwest Ohio, and they need your help to win — support them by signing up to volunteer!

From Findlay, we hit the road on the way to Napoleon for dinner with the Henry County Dems. It was a beautiful night, and we handed out dozens of our Nerds for Cordray shirts.

I can’t even begin to describe how energized these Dems are — they’ve seen what years of disastrous Republican policies do to their community, and they’re excited for change!

Look 👏 at 👏 these 👏 Dems 👏
So much fun catching up with Michael Galbraith (for OH-5), Penny Snodgrass (for County Commissioner), Adam Papin (for SD1) and Janet Breneman (for HD81). Did you notice that they’re aligned with the silhouettes on the bus?

Time to wrap this blog up, because the delicious dinner the Henry County Dems sent us home with is calling my name, but I’ll be back with more updates tomorrow from the road.

33 days. Let’s go!
