32 Days Until the Election, Four Days to Register
A big day with big energy at Denison, Licking County HQ and OSU’s Homecoming Parade.
This bus tour can’t stop, won’t stop.
Today, we picked up Gov. Ted Strickland in Columbus and headed toward Granville to join the Denison Democrats for a voter registration event outside the student union for three hours.
We talked with dozens of students on campus, helping them check their voter registration status and then getting them registered to vote — all while handing out tons of ~swag~ to get them excited about the upcoming election.
Next, we rolled up to HQ for the Licking County Dems, where we were greeted by an incredibly enthusiastic group of Democrats who are full of energy this election. We were joined by Tyler Shipley, candidate for State Rep in District 72 and Adam Rhodes, candidate for Licking County Commissioner. Plus, Melinda Miller (running for State Senate in District 31) stopped by at the end to see us off!
From there, it was off to The Ohio State University for their homecoming parade. A little bit of rain couldn’t dampen our spirits!
We’ve got an early start tomorrow — so for now, I’m signing off!
32 days until Election Day. How are you going to help elect Democrats this weekend?
